Grouch Pooch

Hey, it's Monday, but at least you don't have twins to care for.
Everyone here looks pretty dour.
The pups are chained up. The mom is chained down.
Everyone is wearing a frown.
Someone took the time. Someone made this dog scene.
Affixed some chains. Glazed it green.
Do you need a tsotchke made decades ago?
For the price, please see below.

$8

Amoeba Booger Leaf

Holy mother of blobs! The designer of this glass dish surely had a child. This is what it looks like when a glop of pea puree hits the floor and does its thing.

And that, my dear friendlings, was my first reaction, proving that this plate is something you should really have in your home if you want to find out secrets about your loved ones and lovers. It is the veritable Rorschach ink blot of home decor. Depending on what guests to your home think of it, you can tell oodles about their personal lives. What haunts your imagination when you gaze into the nubbly shallows?

Nifty #50

This be my 50th po-zizzle, yo! In honor of my 50th post, I'd like to share with you two very special lists I am about to make right now:

Things it would be great to have 50 of:
American Dollars
Pairs of Boots
Cans of Diet Coke
Houses all over the world
Kisses from a person you like a bunch

Things it would be terrible to have 50 of:
Eyes
Babies under the age of one year
People whom you do not favor in your home
Jennifer Love Hewitt
Hugs from your smelly friend

And there it is! So, about the chairs... they need a little love. The green metal part could use a good cleaning and maybe some repainting if you're not into the shabby chic thing (and really, you shouldn't be). The fabric on the seats looks great, but it would be easy to change it if grapes aren't your thing.
